Kenya FC claimed the 2006 edition of OKKC's Unity Cup of Nations with a 4-2 victory over Legacy FC on Sunday July 30, 2006.

In a hotly contested final, Kenya FC dominated much of the play but were unable to capitalize more on the scorers table. The tournament hosted by OKKC was contested by 4 countries and a local club team comprising of multiple foreign nationals. During round robin play, Kenya FC was defeated by Legacy but turned the tables when it mattered most, thoroughly outplaying the club team.

With the victory ths weekend, Kenya FC has won three of the four Unity Cup championships, the only loss being in 2005 when they bowed out in the semis against a Kenya team from the St. Louis area.

With victory, the team has won 3 of the five competitions on the years schedule. Other victories were Madaraka Day Cup and Kansas City Invitational. With two more competiotions to go (Gambia Memorial Cup, Aug 12-13 and League play starting September), Kenya FC is poised to get back on track after a disappointing year in 2005.
