3rd Annual Golf Outing - Postponed |

The 3rd Annual Golf tournament has been postponed to the Labor day weekend (More details will follow). For those who are still interested to play, the tee times reserved for the tournament are still available. Please contact me a golf@okkc.org if you want to play by Thursday July 2nd, 2009. The tee times are reserved to start at 8:00 AM at Minor Park Golf Course, 11215 Holmes Street, Kansas City, MO 64131. The green fees are $40 to ride or $28 to walk, and will be paid directly to the Golf Course. This is just a golf outing, there is no Hole in One or lunch provided. We do apologize for the inconvenience.

2nd Annual OKKC Golf Tournament Winner |

 On Saturday July 5th 2008, Organization of Kenyans in Kansas City (OKKC) held its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Minor Park Golf Course in South Kansas City. Thomas Kanyingi was the winner of the tournament with a net score of 1 under Par 71. He won the tournament by 7 strokes. Bob Kendrick captured the 2nd place. His net score was 78. Fanson Kidwaro had a net score of 79, coming in a 3rd.
